The terrorism futures market has no future. The Pentagon was supposed to announce today that it was creating an online futures trading market on terrorist attacks. In theory, it would help forecast terrorist events before they happen. But critics call the idea of allowing traders to profit by correctly predicting attacks and assassinations grotesque, morally repugnant and incredibly stupid. The Pentagon said today they heard the critics. The program is now canceled. Up next, NBC News IN DEPTH tonight. He was chosen to be Saddam Hussein's personal physician.
